Team Bio

Team Howlett is made up of Meg Howlett and Eric Howlett.  Meg and Eric are a Licensed Washington Real Estate Brokers and Realtors, working with Keller Williams West Sound in Kitsap County, Washington.  Each year, we help our clients buy or sell approximately 50-60 houses.  Over the last 10 years, we have helped over 800 clients either buy or sell their home.  With Meg's local real estate expertise and Eric's world class operations and marketing expertise, Team Howlett provides excellent results for our clients.  We care about you and help you achieve your real estate goals with the least amount of stress possible.

Meg (Face of Team Howlett, Giant fan of the PNW, Buyer Expert, Real Estate Expert )(BA Indiana University): With over 25 years real estate experience, she considers herself much more of a social worker than a salesperson.  With first time home buyers, she is the real estate mom who is fiercely protective of her clients.  With clients of her age, she is the real estate sister who will make the transaction as smooth as possible.  When she is the real estate daughter, she does some of her most important and meaningful work.  Team Howlett has a plan for all of our clients and we care so much.

One of the things that make Team Howlett unique is how much they have moved in their own lives. Both Eric and Meg understand the stress and difficulty involved in relocating. After Philadelphia, the newlyweds were off to Orlando, Fl., where they had their first daughter, Adriana. Next they were off to Saratoga Springs to spend the next six months. They spent a short stay in Groton, Connecticut, but then it was moving time again. Meg and Eric moved to Washington State, where their second daughter, Lindsey, was born. Three years later it was back across the country to spend the next three years in Boston. After that, it was back to Groton for six months and then back to Washington State for another three years, where the entire time Meg sold real estate with Windermere Real Estate.

After Eric got out of the Navy, they still kept moving. Two years in Michigan, then down to Columbus, IN for three and a half years. It was in Columbus that Meg was able to finish her undergraduate degree at Indiana University in Germanic Studies. After Columbus, it was across the Atlantic to spend six months in Rome, Italy and two years in Frankfurt, Germany. She is absolutely thrilled that her husband is right by her side, working with her as a team.

Eric (Overall Operations, Marketing Dude, Tech Guy, Listing Focus)(B.S.E. University of Pennsylvania, M.S. MIT Sloan School of Management).  After careers in the US Navy and international industrial management, Eric joined Meg in 2011 to form Team Howlett.  Utilizing his past experience in business and marketing, he has brought innovative marketing tools to help our sellers gain a competitive advantage selling their homes.  Eric's financial background gives buyers and sellers a detailed understanding of the market for good decision making when it comes to pricing.

Raised in the Northeast (New York, Massachusetts), Eric met Meg in Philadelphia while getting an Engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation and marriage in 1984, he was commissioned an officer in the United States Navy and served 11 years in the submarine force. He first served aboard the USS Henry M Jackson as a junior officer while he and Meg had their 2 daughters, Adriana and Lindsey. Eric later served as Chief Engineer Officer aboard the submarine USS Georgia. While on shore duty teaching Naval Science at MIT / Harvard / Tufts, Eric obtained a Masters of Science in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Focusing on product development, operations, and finance at MIT, Eric graduated with straight A’s, obtained a product patent, and wrote a chapter in a college textbook.

After leaving the Navy in 1995, he worked in a variety of management positions at General Motors, Cummins Engine Company, Dover Corporation, Snap-on Tools and Challenger / Quality Lifts. Through this career, he and Meg moved many times including a overseas move to Italy and Germany. With his experience and expertise in world class customer service, innovation, and operations, Eric is committed to providing our clients with value.
